BTEC Extended Diploma in Performing Arts (Dance)

Is this course for me?

We offer wide-ranging training and opportunities within many dance styles, alongside technical training students develop their creative skills through choreography and improvisational classes and workshops.

What qualifications or skills do I require to study this course?

5 GCSEs at grade C or above (including English and maths) or equivalent qualification. Students will also be required to undertake an audition. Experience in some or all of the dance techniques studied is desirable but are not essential, more importantly we are looking for natural flair and a passion for dance and learning.

What option will be open to me if I successfully complete the course? You will be taught by experienced and professional dancers and teachers, who have all worked in the professional dance industry. Our students have progressed onto some of the most prestigious centres for dance, including; London Contemporary Dance School, Urdang Academy, Laban, Bird College, London Studio Centre , Doreen Bird, Stella Mann, Performers, Millennium, Middlesex University, Roehampton University and more.
