What does the course involve?

This course will be delivered through a series of lecturers, demonstrations, guest speakers, research undertaken during independent study time. Written assessments, practical observations, case studies and presentations. It is essential that learners practice at home and it is expected learners will undertake a minimum of 12 hours self-directed study per week. Modules include: Advanced Practical Skills (Prosthetics, Bald Caps, Special Effects), Hair Styling, Salon Management, Research into the Make Up Sector, Human Resource Management, Quality Management, Public Relations in the Make Up Industry, Health & Safety

What option will be open to me if I successfully complete the course? You can progress to a Degree course in a related subject, employment in a management role or self-employment in a growing industry
