Cisco Wireless Mesh Networks

Prerequisites:

Delegates are required to meet the following prerequisites:

Attendance of the CUWN or CWLF/CWLAT courses
A basic knowledge of PC hardware configurations is also required and a basic understanding of networking business drivers is essential

Course Description:

The Cisco Wireless Mesh Networking (CWMN) is a course that introduces the Cisco Aironet 1500 Series Lightweight Outdoor Mesh Access Point. The course provides a technology overview, design and deployment options, and product configuration with hands on labs.

After completing this course, the student should be able to:

• Explore how to create a mesh network
• Review basic controller configuration and wireless LAN configuration
• Demonstrate how to install access points
• Examine the requirements necessary for designing a wireless mesh network
• Explore various verification and troubleshooting tools and commands
