Overview

Course duration: 5 days.

Every element of this course has been designed with care to cover the subject matter thoroughly - with practical advice about how to use PRINCE2 in practice. A highly regarded course for those whowant to develop a sound, professional grounding in the methodology.

The PRINCE2 project management methodology is widely employed by many of the UK's leading private and public sector organisations. This intensive five-day accredited course provides participants with a thorough knowledge of the processes and themes of PRINCE2.

Delegates will sit both the PRINCE2 Foundation examination and the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination. Presented by PRINCE2 approved trainers with practical experience of applying the method in the real world, the course is fully compliant with the latest version of PRINCE2.

Is it right for me?

The course is intended for all aspiring PRINCE2 practitioners who require a solid grounding in the PRINCE2 methodology,processes and themes. This course prepares delegates for both the Foundation and Practitioner exams. To make the most of the course, delegates should ideally have experience of team leading, project management or project assistance/support.

Pre-course Activity

To prepare for this intensive course a sound understanding of project management is required. Approximately 10 to 20 hours of pre-course preparation are required including evening work during the course. The preparation consists of a combination of reading and working through the PRINCE2 manual and example questions.

Trainer Profile

Moyra Wright

The primary objectives of delegates attending this intensivefive-day course are to gain both a professional qualification and an understanding of the OGC PRINCE2 methodology. This is an examination course and delegates can feel a little apprehensive if they haven’t been in an exam environment since leaving school or university.

My role is simply to help you gain the required PRINCE2 knowledge and gain the confidence to sit and pass (our pass rates are amongst the best in the UK) the exams! The course is demanding, and whilst I’ll create an environment that will help you get to grips with the method, at the same time I will be challenging you and encouraging you to think for yourselves.
