Level 7 Award in Strategic Management and Leadership

The level 7 qualifications in Strategic Management and Leadership are designed for directors and senior managers who have the authority and personal inspiration to translate organisational strategy into effective performance.  These qualifications require the manager to focus on the requirements of implementing the organisation’s strategy.  These qualifications are also suitable for aspiring senior managers.

VRQs are work-based but assessed by written assignment.  They are made up of units covering a wide range of management topics, allowing you to tailor the size and elements of the qualification to suit you and your organisation’s specific needs.

The CMI Level 7 Award in Strategic Management and Leadership will build on the management skills and knowledge you already have.  It will give you a greater understanding of the various roles and responsibilities involved in strategic management.

To achieve a Chartered Management Institute Award in Strategic Management and Leadership, you need to successfully complete at least one unit to a minimum of 6 credits. (All units) The Award can take as little as 2 to 3 weeks.

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification.  Assessment is normally through practical work based assignments.  This ensures you minimise time away from work and that you undertake work study which is relevant to your own organisation’s context.  Learners should have sufficient capability at the right level to undertake the learning and assessment.
