This innovative course will provide you with a theoretical underpinning for extended scope posts and podiatric specialisation.
The modular course is a collaborative initiative offered in partnership with Glasgow Caledonian University. Its flexible programme of studies is designed to develop your academic skills if you are considering or presently working in extended scope roles or specialisation. It consists of a broad range of both core and elective modules with should allow the podiatrist to develop a programme based on their professional needs and aspirations.

Delivery: You must attend both QMU and Glasgow Caledonian
University with additional online learning.
Single Modules: Register as an associate student to study single
modules in areas of interest
Duration: Full-time : 1 year Part-time: 3 - 5 years
Start date: September and January
Application deadline: The deadline for all overseas applicants who
require a visa to study in the UK should apply no later than the
30th June 2013.
Teaching, learning and assessment: A range of student-centred
learning methods including tutorials, seminars and experimental
laboratory classes are utilised. Your performance will be assessed
by course work, however, some modules do require assessment by
examination.
Teaching hours and attendance: Each module which you study on
campus will require you to attend classes and carry out independent
work. Your attendance at QMU will depend on which module you are
studying.
Links with industry/professional bodies: This course is approved by
the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and
Edinburgh and the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists.
