Principles of Leadership & Management Certificate Level 3 ILM Awarding Body Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Course Details A credit based taught course designed to give practising or aspiring first line managers a solid foundation in their formal development as a manager. To achieve the Level 3 Certificate in the Principles of Leadership & Management ILM a minimum of 20 credits must be achieved. There are four mandatory units with a combined credit value of 7. The mandatory units are: Solving problems and making decisions. Understanding change in the workplace. Planning change in the workplace. Achieving objectives through time management. Optional units with a minimum total credit value of 13 are chosen from a broad range of 22 units. The optional units are decided collaboratively between the lecturing team and enrolled learners. Each learner undertakes an induction to the programme and receives individual tutorial support to help them in their studies. A Course for The course is specially designed to give practising or aspiring first line managers a solid foundation in their formal development in this role. Entry Requirements There are no formal entry requirements, but learners will normally be either practising or aspiring first line managers with the opportunity to meet the assessment demands and have a background that will enable them to benefit from this programme.
