Student quote
David Su
"I have always studied hard, throughout school and sixth form, and had always wanted to go to university. Now I hope to carry on studying for a Masters in Accountancy and Finance after completing my BA.”
"I have learned to become more independent and self-reliant during my studies this year. At College you rely a lot more on teachers to provide you with the information required to complete tasks, however things are different at university, you have to do more independent reading and research around subjects in order to complete assignments. As a result, I feel that I have enhanced and developed my skills.”
"If you are considering enrolling on the Accountancy and Finance degree course at Solent and aren’t sure whether it is for you, I would recommend that you spend a day in Southampton to get a feel for this coastal city. It’s also always best to visit the University itself as different universities suit different people. I personally really enjoy my course and would recommend it."The International Foundation Year must be successfully completed before commencing undergraduate study (NQF Level 6 and above). In compliance with UKBA Tier 4 (General Student) policy, a Confirmation of Acceptance for Study (CAS) will initially be issued for the foundation course.
