Construction Multi Skills Diploma Level 1

Who is this course for?

This course will interest you if you want to learn the basic principles of a range of construction crafts. It will provide you with a good insight into basic bricklaying, plastering, carpentry, and wall & floor tiling and will provide you with a good foundation if you want to progress to more advanced skills on a general maintenance course at Level 2 or to branch out to a Level 2 qualification in one of the specific craft areas.

What will I do on the course?

The course will provide both practical and theoretical training across a range of construction disciplines.

• Internal plastering
• Basic brickwork skills
• Basic decorating finishes
• Wall and floor tiling
• Basic carpentry skills

What qualifications do I need?

• 3 GCSEs Grade E or above
• You should have a strong interest in working in the construction industry and demonstrate a commitment to succeed

Learners may be required to purchase small items of personal equipment during the course. Prices and details will be discussed at interview. Bursary funds may be available to help with additional costs.
