Introduction to Car Maintenance
This product does not have fixed starting dates and/or places.
The course is intended to give you the confidence to carry out simple maintenance of your car and avoid expensive bills by having to take it to a garage. The course has been designed to cover five main topics (one per evening). The topics to be covered are:
- Changing a wheel and tyre maintenance
- Routine checks and maintenance (Oils, bulbs and windscreen wipers)
- Ignition (Spark plugs and HT leads)
- Charging and Cooling System (Fan belt and antifreeze)
- Valeting (Maintenance and simple body repair)

How long does the course last?
The course is delivered in five sessions of two hours over a period of five weeks.What equipment will I need?
