During the 10-hour instructor led training, Jeff Dykhouse, a veteran audio engineer, guides you through each aspect of Pro Tools LE. The quick start will provide you with the essentials to be up and running almost instantly, while the comprehensive chapter tutorials will give you step-by-step instructions on achieving professional results.

Also included is a recording session where you can watch live video as musicians create tracks with ProTools LE. By watching and emulating you will begin to understand how the professionals utilize and configure ProTools LE.

Course Duration:

From the day you purchase the course, you will have 12 months access to the online study platform. As the course is self-paced you can decide how fast or slow the training goes, and are able to complete the course in stages, revisiting the training at any time.

Method of Assessment:

At the end of the course, you will have one assignment to be submitted (you need a mark of 65% to pass) and you can submit the assignment at any time. You will only need to pay £19 for assessment and certification when you submit the assignment. You will receive the results within 72 hours of submittal, and will be sent a certificate in 7-14 days if you have successfully passed.

Certification:

Successful candidates will be awarded a certificate for Pro Tools LE : Essential Training.

Entry Requirement:

Learners must be age 16 or over and should have a basic understanding of the English Language, numeracy, literacy, and ICT.

Presenter Information:

Jeff Dykhouse has been actively involved in audio engineering for more than 20 years. He has been a user of computer-based recording systems from their inception. Jeff’s diverse career has earned him gold and platinum awards (RIAA). Many of Jeffs endeavours have been within the Praise & Worship genre, where he has worked with top artists such as Paul Baloche, Crystal Lewis, Kevin Prosch and The Violet Burning. Additional clients include corporations such as RCA, Apple Computer, NBC and Charles Schwab. Jeff owns and operates a recording facility and systems design company in Temecula, CA.
