Intermediate Spanish

Course Content: This course is aimed at students who have already completed the Spanish beginners’ course.

1. The students will learn Basic Infinitives and the verb Gustar. First, Second and Third Person.

2. Students will use the Present Tense and will learn the structure of a question and the question words.

3. Doctors – Students will learn the parts of the body & how to say something is hurting.

4. Doctors – Students will learn the basic sentences related to illnesses and medicine.

5. Doctors – Introduce the verb Gustar & Doler and explain the similarities between them.

6. Students will learn the Future Tense- I am going to…

7. Accommodation – Students will learn how to ask for accommodation, single room, double room, with shower, with bath…

8. Accommodation – Students will learn how to ask about facilities in the hotel. Is there a gym in the hotel? Is there a nice restaurant nearby?

9. Accommodation – Students will learn how to write a letter asking for different types of accommodation

10. Students will learn the Future Tense will and shall

11. Shopping – Students will learn the vocabulary related to clothes & colours

14. Students will learn SER and ESTAR and the difference between them.

15. Jobs - Students will learn different jobs and they will revise the verb to Be in Spanish.
