Reflexology (ACL)
This course will include a combination of some theory together with observation of tutor demonstrations but most of the time learners will be involved in practical hands on experience. The course will include:
- Brief history of reflexology
- Foot mapping - to picture the areas within the feet
- Zone walking - covering the feet with thumb technique.
- Picking out areas interest
- Conta-indications
- Foot relaxation
End Qualification:
There is no specific qualification but a college certificate is available if requested by the tutor.

Assessment:
Learners will be assessed throughout the course. Progress will be monitored against targets set by the tutor and learner at the commencement of the course. These targets will include a combination of learning outcomes specified by the tutor and the learners own personal aims and objectives. Learner progress towards all of these targets will be reviewed and recorded in an Individual Learning plan, during and at the end of the course.
Progression from this course:
There will be opportunity to progress onto
other similar or associated courses on successful completion. The
possibilities will be discussed by the tutor at an appropriate
stage. Please be sure to ask your tutor.
It may be possible to progress onto an accredited course either
