The master of philosophy (MPhil) degree is aimed at students with a good honours degree (or significant work experience and professional qualifications) who wish to undertake a research-based masters degree. As an MPhil student you will critically investigate and evaluate an approved topic and demonstrate an understanding of research methods in your chosen engineering or design subject area.
