Description
The BA (Hons) Film & Media Studies degree at the University of Bolton focuses on the history, theory and effects of the media. You will develop the skills to analyse and interpret both established and emerging media, including narrative cinema, television, music, animation and radio. General modules look at critical approaches that cut across different media and you will use materials such as comics, newspapers, advertising, magazines, the web and non-fiction film as sources of information. As you progress through the degree you can choose from a wide range of specialist modules that allow you to delve more deeply into the particular areas that interest you the most.
