FdA Media Production is a practical course that will provide you with an in-depth knowledge of working on multi-platform channels in the media sector. FdA Media Production is a practical course that will provide you

the media sector. You will learn about content integration across a
range of media channels, including animation, broadcasting (film,
TV and radio), visual communications (graphics, photography and
design), and games and interactive media (websites, mobile phone
productions and the like).
If you are just starting out, or if you are already working in the industry as a freelancer or with a production company, developing your cross-platform skills and knowledge will be a major factor in a successful media career.
This programme offers you a unique opportunity to develop your understanding and applied knowledge of current media production practices in which the full range of creative formats are used.
You will study the broader background of the creative industries and develop your own creativity. In addition, you will focus on one area of media production ‚ animation, broadcasting, visual media, games or interactive media ‚ and work with other specialists across these areas to produce integrated media products and services.
You can study for the degree on either a full or part-time basis. In addition, the structure of the programme means you have the option to take individual modules as standalone courses, for which you will be awarded professional development credits.
If you choose to study the whole foundation degree, following successful completion you may progress to a top-up course leading to a BA (Honours) degree at the University of Bolton.
