In BA (Hons) Modern & Contemporary History you will study British, European and American history from the late 19th century to the near-present. This is a very contemporary course, tailored to the needs of those with an interest in the world in which we all live now. It is about the making of the world we live in now. Throughout the course, you will study core modules that will give you a thorough grounding in the subject and enable you to develop and hone your skills of historical investigation and analysis. In your final year you will submit a dissertation in which you will present a work of significant historical research in an area of personal interest.

In BA (Hons) Modern & Contemporary History you will study
