HLLG6020 Infection Prevention and Management (20 credits at level 6)

Intended learning outcomes

On successful completion, you will be able to:

  1. Critically review local and national infection prevention policies.
  2. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the essential principles of infection prevention.
  3. Critically review and analyse the principles of disease transmission and epidemiological factors.
  4. Demonstrate the utilisation of an evidence-based/research approach to clinical practice.
  5. Critically review and evaluate the application of the essential principles of infection prevention in an area of clinical practice.
