Intended Learning OutcomesOn successful completion, you will be able to:
- Demonstrate a detailed knowledge and understanding of the aetiology of menopause and its effects.
- Critically examine the social, cultural. psychological and biological aspects of the menopause.
- Critically analyse the relationship between the menopause and osteoporosis, heart disease, cancer and mental health problems.
- Appraise and apply a range of approaches to history taking and lifestyle assessment.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the therapeutic options and manage individual symptoms.
