Resources and facilities Excellent location in the Lake District National Park and in the middle of the UK’s heartland for Outdoor Education. Selection criteria Applicants should hold a good first degree and/or relevant work experience.

Course summary Being confident of the outcomes and impacts of your work and understanding how your courses bring these about has many benefits. It helps you to develop your courses. It gives staff confidence in their work. It gives you evidence to share with your clients and user groups and can help you argue for funding and new business.

This course will help you develop your capacity to undertake an evaluation or small-scale research project of your organisation’s practice. It will also help you to develop an evaluation strategy for your organisation giving your everyday evaluation work more impact and focus.

The duration of this course is 4 days, plus study time.
