Exploring the potential of the ‘practitioner as researcher’ will help you to understand the impact and quality of your work better. The course is ideal for people thinking of taking course/curriculum leadership roles in their profession. Resources and facilities Excellent location in the Lake District National Park and in the middle of the UK’s heartland for Outdoor Education. Course summary Being confident of the outcomes and impacts of your work and understanding how your courses bring these about has many benefits. It helps you to develop your courses. It gives staff confidence in their work. It gives you evidence to share with your clients and user groups and can help you argue for funding and new business.This course will help you develop your capacity to undertake an evaluation or small-scale research project of your organisation’s practice. It will also help you to develop an evaluation strategy for your organisation giving your everyday evaluation work more impact and focus.
