This programme is for landscape design students who wish to specialise in environmental assessment. It is suitable for graduates from BA Hons Landscape Architecture or the Certificate in Landscape Design. It may also be of interest to graduates from other disciplines, who would be required to first undertake the certificate. The programme includes an Urban Development project, that gives the student experience of analysing an area of land (a "territory") where a synthesis must be achieved between a range of different planning, design and environmental objectives.
The final design project includes an assessment and redesign of a developer's masterplan focusing on improving the landscape/town…

The programme is accredited by the Landscape Institute and can also be preparation for membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute in association with work experience.
