This study day will be facilitated by a consultant obstetrician, a solicitor and a clinical midwife and will highlight exemplars of best contemporary practice. Suturing technique will be demonstrated and there will be opportunity to practically engage with the skill.
The role of the perineal clinic will be explored as well as the legal implications relating to midwifery practice and perineal care.
