This course is for employed painter and decorators who want to develop their practical skills and knowledge required for this sector.
How long is the course?
35 weeks.How will I be assessed?
You will be expected to collect work-based evidence and photos for a portfolio, which will enable you to acheive the NVQ.What will I study?
You'll study a range of modules that include the following:- Carrying out safe working practices
- Preparing surfaces
- Applying hangins to walls and ceilings
- Applying paint materials by brush and roller
- Producing specialist decorative finishes
You wil also be required to undertake Functional Skills in Maths and English.
