ILM Level 3 Leadership and Management
The ILM Leadership and Management courses at Level 3 provides a flexible programme which aims to equip potential and practising first line managers with a wide choice of topics with which to develop a range of management skills.
Description
The courses are offered as 10 week blocks which can be enrolled on singly or as a succession. The possible outcomes depend on how many credits are obtained as to whether an award or certificate has been achieved. Completion of these units leads to the achievement of the Award in
Leadership and Management
Part 2 commencing January 2013 - NOT CURRENTLY RUNNING
Unit title
Understanding innovation and change in an organisation Planning
change in the workplace
Understanding conflict management in the workplace
Understanding stress management in the workplace
Giving briefings and making presentations
Completion of these units in addition to the units from Part 1 will lead to the achievement of the Certificate in Leadership and Management.
Part 3 commencing April 2013
Unit title
Understanding of recruitment and selection of new staff in the
workplace Understanding organising and delegating in the
workplace
Understand the organisation and its context
Writing for business
Understanding training and coaching in the workplace
Completion of parts 2 and 3 will lead to the achievement of the Certificate in Leadership and Management.
Completion of any single part (10 week course) will lead to the achievement of the award.

It is essential to speak to the tutor to determine that this course is suitable for your needs. A Level 2 qualification in literacy is desirable (GCSE, O level, Key or Functional skills) and an ability to study at the appropriate level.How much does it cost?
