Description

Level: Level 3

Students will learn about religious and political conflicts in the early-modern period, from the 1400s-1600s. Students will identify and analyse religious and political challenges within Britain and Europe.

Commitment, ability and drive to carry out extra research outside of class time. A Level History is a big step-up from GCSE History, and due to the level of analysis and range of content covered in the course, it is imperative that students have a high level of attendance.

  • AS year: Trip to Hampton Court to visit original artefacts from the reign of Henry VIII.
  • A2 year: Trip to Madrid to visit a variety of historical sites in order to aid students with their coursework.
