Intensive Course in Microdermabrasion

Who is this course for? For men and women currently working in the Beauty industry. What qualifications or experience do I need ? Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy including a Level 2 Facial unit. Level 2 Literacy or equivalent is also required. What will I study ? Micro-dermabrasion techniques as part of a level 3 specialised facial. How will I be assessed ? Formative and Summative practical tasks, assignments, on-line tests, verbal questions, final portfolio. What qualifications could I achieve ? Level 3 VRQ Award in Micro-dermabrasion What can the course lead to ? Offering this additional specialist skill in the Beauty Industry. Level 3 and 4 beauty qualifications are also available. How do I join the course ? Attend an interview with a Beauty Lecturer. Will I need an interview ? Yes, with a member of the College Beauty Lecturing team. Are there any extra costs for equipment/materials ? A therapy uniform is required (�70.00) The College MDB equipment and products will be used. Provide own facial sponges, bowls and headband. Plus towels and an A4 folder with 10 dividers. Further Information This course will be offered at the Wood Street Campus in The Spa. A free writing English test will be carried out at interview. Previous beauty and literacy qualifications are required to be show to the interviewing lecturer.
