These NVQs are designed to recognise the IT user skills that you use within your workplace and occupation, and qualifications or learning previously achieved. They are work-oriented qualifications and to achieve them you will need the opportunity to demonstrate your competence within your work role.

The Advanced Apprenticeship in IT User is aimed at a supervisory role and more advanced features of the use of IT in the workplace.

Delivery & Assessment methods

This apprenticeship is delivered entirely on company premises. The key skills elements are a mixture of course work and external 1 hour IT based exam. Employer Responsibilities and Rights Unit is covered in a combination of the NVQ and Induction. Course Length: 18 – 24 months.

Progression

Apprentices can progress to Higher Education.
