Course content
To achieve a level 2 Diploma learners must complete both mandatory and optional units. Mandatory units:

- Equality and inclusion
- Safeguarding and welfare
- Health and safety
- The role of the health care worker
- Infection control
- Person-centred approaches
- Handling information
Entry Requirements
Students must be working in a health care setting such as Hospitals, GP Surgeries, District Nursing Service. Renal units, Podiatry, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy Students must have at least six months experience of working in Care.

Delivery of knowledge in class or your workplace from your allocated tutor. Allocation of assessor who will assess learner in the workplace. Assessor support in building up a portfolio showing evidence of competence through observation, testimony, accounts and knowledge.
Progression
The completion of level 2 can lead onto a level 3 Diploma in Health related qualifications.
