This course consists of the following:
10 mandatory units (to meet a variety of roles and responsibilities) in Childcare, Healthcare and Educational Settings.
Mandatory Units:
- Communication
- Inclusion
- Personal development
- CYP development
- Safeguarding
- Health & safety
- Positive behaviour
- Positive environments
- Partnership working
- Maintain relationships
Students must have ALL of the following:
- Aged 19 years and above
- Be employed for a minimum of 12 hours per week
- Students must be working with children or young people aged 0 - 19 years in a professional setting such as a day-nursery, a children's centre, after-school club, residential childcare or self-employed childminders
