Travel and Tourism (BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Certificate)
This qualification is a specialist work-related programme of study that covers the key knowledge and practical skills required in the travel and tourism industry. Students are given the opportunity to develop broad range of knowledge from the sector, examining the different travel and tourism industry components and how they work together.

Students will study 120 credits over a two-year programme. The BTEC Level 3 Diploma is equivalent to two A Levels. Skills and knowledge are developed through a portfolio of case studies, projects and work related scenarios.

Entry Requirements
A minimum of four GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above including Mathematics or English or a Level 2 Travel and Tourism qualification with a Merit grade and Functional Skills English are needed. A positive school or college reference with good levels of attendance and punctuality will also be required.
Progression
On completion of the course, students could progress into higher education at university or move directly into employment within the travel and tourism industry.
