General information

This programme runs for one year with flexible start dates. During this time the Apprentice will attend college part-time and work in an appropriate setting to achieve the skills and knowledge they need to achieve an Advanced Apprenticeship in Administration Which Includes:

Course content

  • Level 3 Diploma in Business and Administration
  • Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Principles of Business and Administration
  • Functional Skills - Maths Level 2, English Level 2, ICT Level 2

The course is demanding and requires organisation, commitment and teamwork from the Apprentice. During the course the Apprentice will build up a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate the necessary skills and experience in Administration (you will be supported by an assessor in this), and will be entered for assessments as appropriate.

Entry requirements

Apprentice must be employed for a minimum of 30 hours per week in a suitable role to demonstrate competence. There must be a line manager committed to on-the-job training who will liaise with College staff.

Progression

It is possible to progress and it is advisable that this is discussed with our Advice and Admissions team at the appropriate time.
