This course is for students who wish to learn practical skills and knowledge of painting and decorating. The course will introduce students to the knowledge of health & safety and the construction industry, also the knowledge and practical skills of painting and decorating - surface preparation, applying paint, applying wallpaper, decorative finishes, access equipment. There will be English and Maths lessons to help prepare you for work in the trade. How will I be Taught? The course will 25 % theory training and 75% practical training, There will be classroom based learning with varied activities and workshop based learning to develop the practical training How will I be Assessed? Assessment for the theory will be multiple choice tests, the assessment for the practical will be a range of timed practical tests to meet specified standards and tolerances What our students say?
