Over the two year course, you will get hands-on experience of using up-to-date, industry standard equipment, technology and facilities and be taught by passionate lecturers who have years of experience of working in media production. You will learn camera operation, digital video editing, photography, page layout and design, audio production and presentation techniques. You will get experience of using a radio station, as well as other exciting digital software such as a green screen. As well as gaining an insight into the various employment opportunities in the media sector and developing the fundamental skills underlying all media production, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in the particular areas that you are most interested in such as commercial production for radio or production management. You will learn in the heart of Birminghams creative district, Digbeth and have the chance to get involved in exciting projects and work experience opportunities both within the college and for external organisations. In the second year you will work on a final major project.Key Areas

What next
