About This Course:The course provides the skills you need to start a career in photography or a related area within the creative industries. It’s practice-based, with projects both in the studio and on location. There are elements of the course that offer candidates an opportunity to work independently on self initiated projects. With experienced staff on hand and modern well-equipped facilities, this course is an excellent opportunity to excel in Photography and build a portfolio showcasing your work.
What You Need:- An NC/NQ in Photography or equivalent SVQ, OR
- Relevant photographic experience.

What You Study:The units you’ll study include: Studio Still Life, Digital Imaging, Image Editing, Photography Theory, Photography Applied Techniques, Portraiture, Corporate Photography, Darkroom Techniques, Photojournalism, Advertising, Image Editing, Fashion, Documentary, Communication: Practical Skills and Creative Industries: An Introduction.

Apply for second year of the HND Photography course.
HND
Apply for the BA (Hons) Photography Degree course offered at the college in partnership with the University of the West of Scotland and City of Glasgow College.
How Long:Two years, starting in August.
