Life Drawing Mixed Ability (5 weeks)

Create your own unique art samples by drawing from life models. Develop your sketching and painting skills during this five week course.

By following demonstrations of techniques you learn various drawing techniques. These include:
• pen drawing
• crosshatching
• laying a colour wash to create different effects

You learn the basic rules of perspective and colour theory.

You also learn specialist skills in drawing to scale and perspective from life models.

This is a non accredited course.

You don’t need any previous experience, just a desire to improve your drawing and observational skills.

Equipment needed for this course is available in our art studio, but artist’s pencils and other drawing equipment would be beneficial.

Re-enroll for further life drawing sessions or to complete a longer course.

Work completed on the course could contribute to your portfolio for progression to Higher Educational courses.
