You will develop the necessary skills to actively participate in the workplace. You will also continue to improve and develop your basic skills in addition to undertaking a work placement in a vocational area of your choice. If appropriate, individual support will be available.

The course offers a Diploma in Skills for Work, also the opportunity to develop and work towards nationally recognised qualifications in Literacy and Numeracy. The course consists of a number of work - related units:
- Certificate in Food Hygiene
- Health & safety
- Information communications & technology
- Introduction to work
- Personalised action planning.
