You will study a range of prose, poetry and drama texts that have been influential and significant over time and explore their meaning today.
What do I need to get on this course?
A previous grade D in English Literature and a free writing assessment. If you are taking GCSE English for the first time, you will be required to take a literacy diagnostic test, as well as the free writing assessment.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through controlled assessments througout the year and an exam in the summer term.
