Course Content

This qualification covers the underpinning knowledge and skills needed to complete the Work-Based Diploma. Attendance at college will be on a 'master-class' basis, fitting around the topics you need for your job.

Run in conjunction with the Apprenticeship programme, the qualification is completed in your workplace by visiting assessors or by employer witness testimonies. The completion of this evidence is expected to take between 12 and 18 months.

  • Horticultural machinery
  • Plant identification
  • Ground preparation and plant establishment
  • Health & Safety

Entry Requirements

Minimum age 16 years.
