No experience necessary, just an interest in the subject. Those with experience are also catered for.

To Introduce the basic skills, improve them, and use them constructively to repair or rebind books.

By the end of the course, you should be able to understand the basic construction of books, and how to repair paper, leather and cloth bindings.

Assessment:
Continuous assessment. You may wish to repeat a process for full clarification.

Progression:
To be discussed during course.

Course Syllabus:
The workshop is run to allow you to complete the work that you wish, be it repairing an old cloth binding, an old family leather Bible or making a box to keep a book in.
