It is a statutory requirement for anyone who works with children to update their knowledge of legislation and guidance and maintain the ability to act on concerns regarding the welfare and safety of children and young people. The government guidance suggests that refresher training should take place every three years.

Who the course is aimed at:
Anyone whose work brings them into contact with children including employees and volunteers. This highly participative course will enable you and your staff to get a better understanding of what safeguarding is about the process involved in child protection. Delegates will then be able to see how these fit in relation to their role in your organisation.
