What is it about?Many people find being assertive difficult and assume it's a
natural quality that can't be taught. That's not true, and this
course provides simple, effective and proven techniques that anyone
can use to be more assertive.
Learners on this course will discover how to make a positive change
in their work and home lives by achieving the right balance of
firmness and fairness. Learners assess their behaviour honestly in
a safe, supportive environment and then create a realistic,
effective plan for positive change, supported by an expert
facilitator. Everyone attending this course will learn how to say
no effectively, give and receive criticism in a fair, productive
way and recognise and overcome anxiety.
