ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management (Fast Track)

Entry Reqirements

There are no formal entry requirements but you will normally be either a practicing or aspiring first line manager with the opportunity to meet the assessment criteria and have a background that will enable you to benefit from the programme.

Delivery:

This qualification is delivered to groups as face to face tutorials which include case studies and interactive group exercises by experienced tutors who have held management positions making the training practical, participative, fun and linked to real work environments. This approach also promotes shared experience and knowledge; it also gives a peer support network in addition to the tutorial support provided.

Content:

There are 3 units to complete in order to achieve this qualification:

• Understanding Leadership.
• Understand how to Establish an Effective Team.
• Understanding Organising and Delegating in the Workplace.

Assessment:

In addition to the group tutorials, you are required to carry out guided work-based assessments for each unit completed in your own time.  You will also be expected to develop action plans to implement in the workplace so you can transfer your learning back into your job role.

Progression:

Following successful completion, you may progress to the ILM Level 3 Coaching and/or Mentoring or the Level 4 Award, Certificate or Diploma in Leadership and Management.

Costs include six months studying membership of the ILM.
