Life Sculpture
Beginners and experienced sculptors.
What will I do on the course?
Using traditional approaches the course aims to give students the chance to make 3 dimensional and relief sculptures based on observation of the human form. These may be representational, stylised or abstract.
Students will have a series of projects based on direct observation of the life model. Activities will include: construction for clay modelling, measuring and scaling models, firing and finishing processes, mould making, casting in Ciment Fondu or plaster of Paris.
