You will critically examine different attitudes to death and dying and the wider issues that can affect the dying, their families and carers. You will be encouraged to reflect upon personal and professional responses to loss and grief and how this impacts on professional practice. You will learn about the impact of communication on the bereavement process, enabling you to become more self‚aware when dealing with difficult situations and to appreciate reactions to grief.
