Aims
It has been widely recognised that wound care management impacts greatly on NHS resources, the patient and their significant others. For that reason appropriate care in relation to the assessment and management of wounds is an essential skill for all practitioners involved .This study day is aimed at all healthcare practitioners involved in wound care and will explore Contemporary Issues in Tissue Viability: Quality indicators in tissue viability, wound assessment, product selection using simulated wounds to aid knowledge and skill development and the impact wounds have on patient’s health and well being.
