How long is the course?
This is a part-time, 14-week course. We offer both a daytime and an evening session; all sessions are three hours long.How will I be assessed?
The course is assessed through a number of ongoing theory and practical tasks.What will I study?
The course will cover the following:Understanding your own role, responsibilities and boundaries of a teacher
Understanding appropriate teaching and learning approaches in the specialist area
Demonstrate session planning skills
Understanding how to deliver inclusive sessions which motivate learners
Understanding the use of different assessment methods and the need for record keeping
