This is a full-time course aimed at providing you with the skills to work as a professional cook/chef in a range of settings such as events catering or restaurants.
You will study a variety of practical and theoretical units which will develop your skills and knowledge in preparation for employment.

Functional Skills are a mandatory part of the course and you will be required to study either Maths, English or ICT which will be determined by your previous achievements in these subjects. These qualifications are designed to enhance your employment opportunities.

Progressing students will need to have passed the Level 1 Introduction to Professional Cookery Diploma with most units at a minimum of Merit level.
