CIH Certificate in Housing Practice- Support for Independent Living Pathway
This is a one year, day release course. Students study a comprehensive range of housing issues. It is specially designed for those currently working or those contemplating working in public housing in councils, housing associations, or the voluntary or private sector. The course gives a very wide knowledge and skills base to those taking part.

Entry Requirements
The Level 3 Certificate in Housing (Managing Housing Services) is for those working in the field in local authorities, housing associations and the voluntary sector. Places are also available for those wishing to enter this line of employment. Applicants should normally be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, but active consideration is given to mature student entry.
Progression
Career opportunities exist with local authorities, housing associations and the voluntary and private sector. Academic progression is usually to HNC or degree level (level 4) within a housing or housing related field.
