NVQ Certificate in Business Administration (with IT Skills)
This course is suitable for students who wish to work in an administrative support role in both private and public sector organisations. Students will be able to demonstrate practical skills achieved throughout their programme of study. Assessment is by portfolio, together with internal assessments.
Whilst undertaking the NVQ qualification students will be required to attend a work placement and will be timetabled in the College Admin Centre carrying out `live' work of behalf of the college. Students will visit a number of business institutions so they can gain an understanding of business environments – Royal Mail, team building event, BBC Radio Stoke, Job Scene at NIA Birmingham, Trinity …

Entry Requirements
A minimum of four GCSEs at minimum grade D, Mathematics and English is desirable. Students who have completed their NVQ Level 1 Business Administration may progress onto the NVQ Level 2 with a satisfactory progression interview. Students with a Pass grade will be considered subject to an initial assessment plus supporting reference.
