Students will study two core units:
- Health & Safety
- Working with others.

Plus a choice of two/four optional units from: - Milling
- Turning
- Grinding
- Drilling
- Fabrication
- Fitting
- Electrical Wiring
- Soldering.
Assessment Method
Assessment is by:
- City & Guilds practical assignments marked by the course tutor
- Portfolio of evidence.
Progression
Students may wish to progress onto the BTEC National Certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering currently offered by the College, or various Level 3 courses in the workplace.

Course Cost: Tuition £785 Registation: £50 Overalls, safety boots and a calculator will be required for this course. This is a Full Level 2 course, and students aged 19+ that do not already have a Level 2 qualification may be entitled to free tuition (although registration fees will still apply) - please contact the College on 01476 400250 for more details.
Entry Requirements
GCSEs in Maths and English are required at least Grade D for this Level 2 course.
